Successful military transition is a (virtual) team sport

Here is one of the most important lessons I learned during my military transition:

Learn to harness the power of those with a positive influence and to keep at a distance the nay-sayers and doubters.

Why is this important? Because a successful military transition is a team sport. To be clear, it’s a virtual team of individuals and companies you will work with – formally and informally.

There are individuals you will want to bring into your inner circle to share your experience, ask advice, exchange ideas and use their services. These are all people who can provide positive influence during your journey.
